Dr Ahmed Diab – Cardiology Centre

Interventional Department

1. Emergency Unit

● 24/7 Primary PCI for Acute Myocardial Infarction Immediate catheter-based intervention for acute heart attack patients. Focused on rapid restoration of coronary blood flow and myocardial salvage.

●Management of Unstable Angina Cases Early evaluation and stabilization of high-risk chest pain syndromes. Aimed at preventing progression to myocardial infarction.

● Emergency Revascularization of Acute Coronary Occlusions Urgent reopening of suddenly blocked coronary arteries. Performed to preserve cardiac muscle viability and function.

● Emergency Temporary Pacemaker Insertion Temporary pacing support for life-threatening bradyarrhythmias. Used in unstable rhythm disturbances and conduction block emergencies.

2. Elective Cases Unit

● Assessment and Management of Coronary Artery Stenosis Comprehensive evaluation of coronary narrowing severity and significance. Guided treatment planning using advanced coronary imaging and intervention.

● Complex Chronic Total Occlusion (CTO) Interventions Specialized catheter techniques for long-standing total coronary occlusions. Aimed at improving myocardial perfusion and symptom control.

● Coronary Bifurcation Lesion Interventions Advanced treatment of branch-point coronary artery lesions. Focused on preserving optimal blood flow in both vessel branches.

● Hemodynamic Assessment & Intracardiac Pressure Measurement Detailed evaluation of intracardiac pressures and circulatory dynamics. Used for diagnosis and therapeutic decision-making in complex cardiac diseases.

● Catheter-Based Valvular Assessment Invasive assessment of valvular stenosis and regurgitation severity. Provides accurate hemodynamic evaluation of valve function.

●Follow-up of Prosthetic Heart Valves Regular monitoring of mechanical and bioprosthetic valve performance. Focused on early detection of dysfunction, thrombosis, or complications.
